I love this selection! I am unfamiliar with her other works, but I found a beautiful edition of this book and have enjoyed her writing style. I discovered it an adult, but I found myself attracted to the setting and, as you said, the humor in it.
I love everything about it. It is a bit of an odd story at times—which I only REALLY realized after watching the film recently. (I had NO idea there was a movie! I believe I stumbled upon it on Amazon prime.) And I am now very drawn to any sort of novel with a humble castle.
